Wildlife Aid
Wildlife Aid has been supported by Transcribe Thames Group since 1992 and remains a charity that we are passionate about. We'd like to encourage all our customers and suppliers to support them too.
All the animals that come into their care are treated and rehabilitated completely free of charge. Their aim is to return every animal that is capable of surviving back into its natural environment. Unfortunately, there are still too many incidents when the injuries - often deliberately inflicted by man - are so severe that they would be never be able to be returned to the wild. Wild animals are, by their nature, wild, and do not belong in captivity.
Wildlife Aid respect the dignity of these animals and afford them a peaceful and pain free end to life in a warm comfortable environment. This is only ever a last resort and every day at
Wildlife Aid their volunteers' dedication and care allows them to see remarkable recoveries, where others might have given up.
You can support the wildlife of our country and Wildlife Aid's amazing work in three different ways: -
- Adopt - If you adopt an animal, you will be helping out with some of the costs of specialist care, food and medicines that their patients need to help them return to the wild as quickly as possible.
- Donate - A single donation, no matter how small, does make a difference. Your donation will go towards paying for food, accommodation costs, treatment needs and release of all the wildlife that comes to them daily.
- Join - The best way to support Wildlife Aid is to become a member. It costs them £5,000 a week to run the centre in Leatherhead, and medical costs are increasing all the time, so they need every penny they can get. Members really are their lifeline.
