TTG acquisition news
Transcribe Thames Group (TTG) have announced their third acquisition in less than four months today (03/09/2007). Warranty Services UK is a successful fax service and warranty business based in North London with over 6,000 machines in the field with many household names amongst their customers.
This acquisition further strengthens TTG's offering in the office equipment service sector following the purchase of Teffont Business Systems Limited in May 2007. By combining the strengths from each company, they are now one the UK’s largest independent service companies that provide UK-wide support for copiers, printers and fax machines.
Tim Rampling (Managing Director of TTG) explained why fax servicing is still in demand despite the mass use of email, he said, "Put simply, faxes are still widely used, but good fax servicing isn't widely available. Our company is perfectly placed in providing the best in fax service and have the portfolio of products to help our customers integrate new technologies such as electronic document management or scan-to-email; to help further improve their office communications".
